It is a mistake to think that time is going. Time is not going. Time is here till the end of the world. It is you that is going. Time is infinite, but you are not. You do not waste time, you waste yourself. Time does not die. It is you that grow old and die. So make judicious use of your time.

One of the worst thing to do with time, is comparing yourself with others. A Cow eats grass and grow fat. But if a dog eats the same grass, it will die. One man's food is another man's poison. Never you compare yourself with others. Focus on yourself. Don't be envious of the possessions of others. That Rose smells better than tomatoes, doesn't mean the Rose can make better stew.

Discover your strenght and build on it. Remember that even a broken crayon still colour. Never you devalue or look down on yourself. In the whole world, nobody can be you.

       "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own special people......1 peter 2:9"   You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

 You might not be as fast as others. But hear me, if God could wait for the snail to enter Noah's ark to avoid destruction, because the snail was willing. I speak into the life of a lifted soul, who is willing to push until something happen, that your door of grace will never be closed until you are fulfill.

                   HEARING FROM GOD 
                            (PART ONE)


       There has been so much misconception and argument about hearing from God. Many are of the opinion that God is Spirit and does not speak to mortals like us. Others said, that it is impossible for us to hear from God. Yet many always say "Thus says the Lord ", when God has not spoken. Yet, another set of persons who God speaks to almost every moment, boldly say,  God has never spoken to me. Most times I  hear them say things like ,(something told me. I heard a voice. My mind told me) and many other.
         However, hearing from God can be very complicated because Satan speaks.
     
           The bible says "You, however ,are controlled not by sinful nature ,but by the Spirit......................The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children Rom 8:9-16"
          Let me answer some of the questions we normally ask;

        ** Does God speaks?
        ** Can we hear from God ?
        ** What are the ways God speaks to us?

  DOES GOD SPEAKS?   Yes. God speaks. Starting from the beginning.
            "Then God said,............Gen 1:3,26,29. Gen 12:1".
  
  CAN WE HEAR FROM GOD?  Yes. We can hear from God,  according to the scriptures, people's experience and my personal experience.  God spoke with Abraham (Gen 12). Those discussions wouldn't have taken place,  if Abraham was not hearing from God . Moses spoke with God face to face "Ex's 3 and 33". 
Many children of God have been hearing and still hear from God, even in our time.
      Before we look into the ways God speaks to us,  let us see some hindrances to hearing from God.

    ♧♧ Self condemnation.
    ♧♧ Unbelieve/ lack of faith.
    ♧♧ Anxiety and Restless mind.


  In the second part of this article,  we will thoroughly consider the ways God speaks to us . God bless us.

  Text: Gen 39:1-23

 Many at times I hear a friend  say to a friend, "with you I am covered or saved ". Looking critically at the statement most times it works. However, no one can make such statement without knowing the abilities the individual possess. This coverage could be financially, emotionally, academically, spiritually e.t.c. There is always a certainty of what such a person can do.
      Hence, the power of His presence is all about what the presence of God can do for a person and in the life of that person. Someone may asked, can God's presence do everything for me?
       YES. The  power that God's presence command is unlimited and the abilities of His presence cannot be overemphasized.
        Here are some of the things His presence can do;
   ** It brings salvation (Luke 29:5-10).
   ** It calms every storm (Matt 4:35-39).
   ** It commands favour upon a man
        (Gen 39:2-3, 21-22).
   ** His presence brings protection
        (Ex's 13:21-22).
   ** It makes alive (John 11:38-44)
   ** It reveals a man who has found grace with         God (Ex's 33:16).
   ** It quenches every fire of the enemy                     ( Daniel 3:25-27).
   ** It makes everything possible (Matt 19:26).
